The Australian independent MP is now in a serious but stable condition at Melbourne’s Alfred Hospital, up from critical, which is her first improvement since she was airlifted there after what authorities describe as a deliberate @ttack outside her Wangaratta electorate office on Monday. Haines, 65, lost both legs, and 43 year old Brendan Nugent, who is alleged to be responsible, was taken into custody shortly after and has appeared in court on three charges. What message would you send her?
