At least six people have been killed following a new wave of Russian drone and missile attacks targeting several locations across Ukraine.
Among the damaged infrastructure was Kyiv’s Northern Bridge, a major transportation route that has remained partially closed following the strikes. Ukrainian officials said attacks also affected Kharkiv, Izyum and areas near Odesa, where a civilian cargo vessel was reportedly struck.
Infrastructure Remains a Key Target
The latest attacks continue a pattern of strikes aimed at transportation, logistics and other infrastructure considered strategically important.
Officials in Kyiv say emergency crews have been working around the clock to restore services and assess structural damage.
Regional Concerns Grow
The conflict is also creating concerns beyond Ukraine’s borders.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu recently expressed concern after reports of airspace violations and explosions linked to the conflict near Moldova.
