Former Congolese President Joseph Kabila has been named leader of a new rebel coalition seeking to oust the government. The group, the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation, says it will coordinate “resistance forces” and pursue its goal by all means, including force. It is the clearest sign yet of his direct involvement in a rebel movement, a year after he was sentenced to d€ath in absentia for treason, though he previously denied links to M23. Where do you think this goes next?
